Multispectral and hyperspectral imaging sensors, spectrometers, chromatography systems and IR cameras are key devices and subsystems for a wide range of application domains, such as: security and surveillance, environmental and atmospheric monitoring, industrial process monitoring or medical imaging. Advances in optics, detectors, filters or thin film technologies for the ultraviolet through longwave infrared (0.3 – 14 μm) spectral regions, in combination with high-speed data capture, storage, and retrieval make it feasible and cost effective to conduct remote spectrometry from field, airborne, and spaceborne platforms as well as in-line affordable monitoring for the positioning of numerous cameras in the food-beverage, pharma or plastic industry.
The objective of the EPIC Meeting on Hyperspectral and Multispectral Imaging and Spectroscopy at NORCE is to find business opportunities between camera manufacturers, end users, component manufacturers and assembly solutions suppliers. Furthermore the users and system integrators will share current and future applications as well as unmet needs and specifications.
